How Kardo handles what you share with it. In short: what you save is yours, nobody at Kardo reads it, and you can delete it whenever you like.
What Kardo keeps
- Your account: your email and name, or your Telegram id if you use the bot, and a hashed password - never the password itself.
- What you share, and the cards made from it: the link or note, the words said and shown in it, the summary, facts and guides.
- How you use Kardo: events like “saved a link” or “made a trip plan”, with no titles, links or text, and the devices you are signed in on.
Videos and files
A video Kardo downloads or you upload is used only to make your card, and is deleted within 24 hours.
Who else sees it
- The Kardo team sees how the app is used - counts and events - and never what you saved.
- AI services (such as Groq, Google Gemini and OpenAI) read what you share, only to make your card.
- People you share with: only a card you choose to share, as a link. Stop sharing it at any time.
- Advertisers: nobody. Kardo does not sell your data or show what you saved to anyone for ads.
Your choices
- Delete any card in the app, and it is gone.
- Delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), or on this page. Everything in it is deleted with it.
