Terms of use

Last updated 23 October 2026

In short. Use Kardo for yourself, share only what you are allowed to, and treat cards as notes, not advice - AI can be wrong. What you save stays yours. Kardo is in testing, so things will change.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Kardo, run from India by its founder, Mohit Kumar. By making an account or using the app, the Telegram bot or this website, you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Kardo.

2. Kardo is in testing

Kardo is new and still being built. Features will change, some will be added and some removed, and there will be days it is slow or down. We will try to tell you about big changes in the app first.

3. Your account

4. What you may share with Kardo

Kardo makes notes, for your own use, from things you choose to share. Share only what you are allowed to see and use. The reels and videos you share belong to the people who made them: a card is your note about them, it links back to the original, and it is not a copy to republish as your own. When you share a card with others, share it as a pointer to the creator's work.

5. What you must not do

Kardo's safety check refuses some content automatically, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. What you save is yours

You keep every right you have in what you save. You give Kardo permission to store it and to process it - including sending it to the AI services named in the privacy policy - only to make your cards and guides and to run your account. A card you share by link can be seen by anyone with the link until you stop sharing it.

7. Cards are notes, not advice

Cards and guides are made by AI from what a reel said. Kardo shows where each fact came from and how sure it is, but it can still be wrong, out of date, or miss something. Prices, timings, routes and budgets in a trip plan are estimates. Nothing in Kardo is medical, financial, legal or professional advice - check anything important with a reliable source before you rely on it. Kardo does not endorse what a reel says.

8. Plans and payment

9. Kardo's own things

The Kardo name, logo, app and website belong to Kardo. Kardo uses open-source software under its own licences, and the Poppins and Hind fonts under the SIL Open Font License.

10. Other platforms

Kardo is not made by, connected to or endorsed by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google or any platform you share from. Their own terms apply to their content. Kardo never asks for your password to them.

11. Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app or on this website. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we must close by law, and we will tell you why when we can. If Kardo ever shuts down, we will give notice first.

12. Responsibility

Kardo is offered as it is, while it is being built. As far as the law allows, Kardo is not responsible for losses from relying on a card, from content you shared, or from Kardo being unavailable, and is not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be given up.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date, and the app tells you about anything important before it applies. Using Kardo after that means you accept them.

15. Contact

Message Kardo on Instagram with any question about these terms.
